Business Planning
Business planning operationalizes the concepts developed in the strategic plan.
It specifies financial, implementation and marketing issues inherent in any program's
development.
Key questions to address in the business plan are:
The business plan can be constructed along the same lines as the strategic plan. List the
goals, objectives, strategies and tactics, a timeline, and the individual(s) responsible
for each issue.
The development of all aspects of a business plan usually takes several months.
The decisions taken about each aspect of the business plan are included in the written
proposal that will be developed to sell the program plan.
