Gil Naco, MD, is Clinical Medical Director of the South County Hospice Care at Home teams at San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care, a teaching affiliate of the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. Gil Naco received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. and his MD degree from the Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago, Maywood, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Scripps-Mercy Medical Center, San Diego, California. As a Medical Director, Gil provide inpatient and outpatient care at Vista Community Clinic. He was also Medical Director of Options for Recovery a drug rehabilitation program for women. On June 30, 2001, Gil was the first graduate of the Center For Palliative Studies. Palliative Medicine Fellowship program. He subsequently join the San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care Medical Staff where, as junior faculty, he is active in the educational programs for palliative medicine fellows, residents, interns and medical students. |
